Kaufman & Robinson Check-In

The global spread of COVID-19 is affecting every one of us.

We want to keep our customers and vendors up-to date on our business during this time of uncertainty. Therefore, we are going to be posting regular "Kaufman & Robinson Check-In" updates.

Two weeks ago, Kaufman & Robinson transitioned to a “skeleton crew” production process. We did this to balance the health and safety of our employees with our commitment to our valued customers.

Kaufman & Robinson Check In

Staff of Kaufman and Robinson

A lot has happened over the past two weeks. Every day, we learn more and more about this virus and the lasting effects it will have – not just on individual lives and health, but on our ever changing economy, as well. As we learn to adjust to this current “normal” in the midst of “shelter in place” orders, we wanted to reach out and remind our partners and customers that we are still here.

Kaufman & Robinson has always worked hard to provide quality products and exceptional customer service for our customers. Our skeleton crew has been working hard to fill orders for companies who have been deemed essential, and to provide support for all of our customers. We have staff on hand answering customer inquiries and questions, and production team members filling orders for spare parts and providing application support.

We have team members monitoring messages and email accounts daily. If you need support or have questions, please know that our technical support crew and sales team will return any calls or emails as soon as they possibly can. Calls can be placed to our mainline (970)-495-0187, or directly to your trusted KRI contact.

Stay safe and healthy.

We've got walls! Kind of.....

Day by day we are seeing progress on our facility expansion in Fort Collins! This morning - all we had were pipes and concrete. By mid-morning, we had steel beams in place for the framing of the walls and roof!

We are excited to see what it will look like over the next few weeks. Stay tuned for more Expanding for Innovation updates!

KRI is headed to Denver for the APS March Meeting!

KRI will be attending the APS March Meeting - March 2-6 in Denver

KRI is excited to announce that they are headed to Denver for the APS March Meeting, March 2-6! This is the first time that Kaufman & Robinson has participated in this annual event, and we are looking forward to all of the new connections we will make there! We’re also thrilled for the chance to show off our great state of Colorado – welcoming all of the scientists who work in academia, national laboratories, and various industries throughout the world.

The APS March Meeting Exhibit is the perfect fit for Kaufman & Robinson. Many of the attendees work in sciences and fields such as thin films, semiconductors, optoelectronics, and data storage technologies. KRI is a pioneer and leader in broad beam products that have powered advances in all of these areas and more.

KRI Products on display at APS

KDC10 Source from the Gridded KDC Product Line

Our team of professionals will be showcasing our RFICP40 Remote Mount Version and two products from our Gridded KDC Sources line – the KDC10 and KDC40. The RFICP40 is the smallest and most cost-effective RF gridded ion source product. It is perfect for many research and development applications because of its filament-less technology. The KDC10 & KDC40 sources are often used for research and industrial fabrication of optical, photonics, magnetic, and microelectronic devices. Both are well suited for installations in smaller vacuum systems, and their attractive price points make them perfect for research scientists who would like to add broad beam processing to their laboratory tools. You can find more information about these products here: https://ionsources.com/product-lines/

Kaufman & Robinson will be set up at booth #1805 with products, literature, and a dedicated team to meet with interested parties. While visiting the booth, you can enter to win a KRI Klean Kanteen water bottle! Drawings will be held each day of the exhibition.

Employment information at APS Job Fair

KRI’s Human Resources team will also be on hand at the APS March Meeting Jobs Expo. KRI is in the process of hiring a new CAD & Manual Controls Assistant Technician. We are eager to connect with job seekers at this event as well! More information about this position can be found here: https://ionsources.com/employment-opportunities/cad-manual-controls-assistant-technician/

We hope to see many familiar faces and get to know new ones at this wonderful event. See you in Denver!
